Can window film reduce bird strikes on large glass walls?
Yes, with the right product. Patterned exterior films break up reflections so birds see a surface. Plain mirrored films can make strikes worse, which is one reason we steer hillside homes away from them.
How should I clean tall filmed windows?
After the film cures, use a soft squeegee or microfiber on an extension pole with mild soapy water. Avoid scraper blades and abrasive pads on the film side. The outside of the glass can be cleaned as usual.
